Welcome to Pantryo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pantryo mobile application (the "App") operated by Pantryo ("we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Pantryo is a recipe and grocery planning application that allows you to:

• Import, create, and manage recipes
• Generate shopping lists from recipe ingredients
• Collaborate with family and friends through groups
• Use AI-powered features to parse recipe text and generate recipe images

2. Accounts

• You must create an account to use the App. You can sign up with an email address or through Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Share content that is offensive, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other user accounts, or our systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the App.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the App.
• Abuse the AI features by submitting content that is not related to recipes or food.
• Circumvent usage limits imposed on AI features.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. User Content

• "User Content" refers to recipes, images, shopping lists, group names, and any other content you create or upload through the App.
• You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you and your group members.
• You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• We do not claim ownership over your recipes or other content.

5. AI-Generated Content

• The App offers AI-powered features including recipe text parsing and image generation.
• AI-generated content (parsed recipes, generated images) is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content, particularly ingredient quantities, allergen information, and cooking instructions, before use.
• AI features are subject to monthly usage limits per account.
• We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content.

6. Groups and Sharing

• When you create or join a group, other members can see your display name, profile photo, and content you share with the group.
• Group administrators can manage group membership.
• Content shared with a group is visible to all group members. Share responsibly.
• If you leave or are removed from a group, content you previously shared with the group may remain accessible to other group members.

7. Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the property of Pantryo and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
• The Pantryo name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.

8. Availability and Changes

• We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
• We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the App at any time.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
• Our total liability for any claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content, including but not limited to recipe ingredients, quantities, and nutritional information.

10. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the App (Settings > Delete Account).
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts.
